There is nothing more refreshing than some ananas after a heavy meal.
Having two slices of ananas after a good Biriyanee makes you feel that you instantly digest it and all the fat you indulged melt away.
There must be a good reason for serving ananas along a biriyanee in most part of Kerala.
I must search its nutritional values.
What I did
I used canned Ananas because it is not the season. If you can get fresh ones, that would be the best.
Arranged them in a long platter. Sprinkled some Chaat Masala and garnished with few coriander leaves.
I love this fruit. Its freshness combined with this salty and sharp spices is quite interesting.
A different way to serve this fruit, try it.
